Let It Ride

Let it ride is one of the newest casino games. It is popular in both brick and mortar and online casinos. It is a poker based game played against the dealer. In let it Ride the house has a 3.5% advantage over the player.
Before the hand the player puts down three or four separate bets. These bets are an ante bet, two raises and an optional one dollar bonus bet. After the first cards are dealt the player will be given the opportunity to take back his first raise or Let It Ride. After seeing the dealers second hole card the player will again be given the opportunity to take back his second raise or Let it Ride. These are the 5 cards make your hand. Winning hands are paid according to the payout table that we will look at later. On winning hands the ante and each raise that was not taken back are paid. Bonus bets are also paid on two pair or better.
The goal of the game is to make a pair of tens or better. You will be paid more for a better hand. You can use both your cards and the dealer's cards. The players are dealt 3 cards face down that they can look at (these cards are dealt face up online) and the dealer is dealt 2 cards face down. The two dealer cards are community cards and all players will use them with their own cards. A pair of tens or better in your hand is called a no-brainer and you will raise every round. You have already won and you are now hoping to get the best hand possible.
The Basic strategy after seeing the first three cards is not to raise unless you have a pair of tens or better, or a three card straight flush or three card royal flush. After seeing the dealers first card you should only raise with a winning hand or a 4-card flush, 4-card Straight Flush, or a 4-card open-ended straight. When you play this strategy the house holds a 3.51% edge. Any other strategy and the odds get worse.
In Let it Ride when you have a winning hand you are paid for the ante and any raises. Pairs that are 10 or higher pay even money, two pairs pays 2 to 1, three of a kind pays 3 to 1, a straight pays 5 to 1, a flush 8 to 1, a full house 11 to 1, four of a kind 50 to 1, a straight flush 200 to1 and a royal flush 1000 to 1.
The $1 bonus bet pays out at higher rates on the long shots, it does not pay for pairs which are the most common winning hands. It pays 5 to 1 for trips, 25 to 1 for a straight, 50 to 1 for a flush, 200 to 1 for a full house, 400 to 1 for 4 of a kind, 1000 to 1 for a straight flush and 20,000 to 1 for a royal flush.
